Ouseburn Event Space is proud to welcome Newcastle-born illustrator and artist Marcus Reed for a special independent exhibition showcasing a collection of work spanning illustration, storytelling and visual culture.
After studying illustration at Newcastle College, Marcus went on to build a successful creative career, working with major brands, publications and agencies while developing a distinctive visual style recognised for its character, detail and sense of nostalgia.
This exhibition brings together a selection of artwork that reflects Marcus's unique perspective, drawing inspiration from popular culture, everyday life and the stories that shape our memories. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore work connected to Saturday's Kids, a celebration of childhood nostalgia and the generations shaped by Saturday mornings spent in front of the television.
Set within the industrial surroundings of Ouseburn Event Space, the exhibition offers a chance to discover the work of one of the North East's most accomplished creative talents while enjoying food, drinks and the atmosphere of Ouseburn's vibrant cultural community.
